How the Day Works
1

Learn

A guided session walks every participant through building and training a first machine learning model in Python, from loading a dataset to reading the results. All materials are provided.

2

Build

Teams apply what they learned to the competition dataset, with club members circulating to help debug, explain concepts, and suggest improvements.

3

Compete

Each team submits its model for scoring on a held-out test set. Standings are shown live, and winners are announced at the end of the event.
